What Benefits does Necco offer its employees?

You share the cost of some benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) and Necco provides other benefits to you at no cost (Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance and Long-Term Disability.) Yes, every employee is issued a laptop to use while employed by the company.

To help you prepare for the future, Necco sponsors a 401(k) plan through Fidelity Investments as part of its benefits package. As a full-time employee, you may start participating in this plan on the 91st day of full-time employment. Part-time employees are now eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan - this excludes PRN employees and interns.

Necco will match up to 3% of your salary. You must be enrolled and making your own contributions to receive the company match. By saving on a before‐tax basis, you reduce the taxes you pay today and delay paying taxes on the money you save AND the money that grows in your account, until you withdraw the money from your account. Necco also offers a Roth IRA, wherein you pay the taxes today and avoid paying when you withdraw the money at retirement.

Necco contributes $1,200 per year into employee’s Flexible Savings Accounts (F.S.A). These contributions will be deposited bi-weekly in the amount of $46.15.

All full-time employees are eligible for 20 days of vacation and 10 sick days per year. Employees accrue PTO at a rate of 5 days of vacation and 2.5 sick days per quarter granted on the first day of each quarter.  Part-time employees are eligible for five PTO days per year.

After the completion of one year of employment, full-time employees in good standing, and who receive Supervisor approval, will be reimbursed for the cost of classes up to $2,500 in a calendar year. After two years of employment, the amount of assistance will be increased to $4,000 per calendar year.

What can I expect from Necco?

Within the first 90 days of employment the new employee will participate in the following:

  1. New Employee Orientation Training Program.

  2. State/Program Specific Training (Number of hours may differ based on state/office).
