Training for independence.

Supported living provides education and training to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in living as independently as possible by either remaining in or returning to the community as an alternative to institutionalization.

Necco Center provides supported living services to individuals ages 9+ with subsidies through the state of Ohio through the IO Waiver program.

Necco Center is a waiver provider that is certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD). The Individual Options Waiver (I.O. Waiver) assists individuals with developmental disabilities who meet the waiver's eligibility requirements. Services provided through this waiver allow individuals to stay in their homes and get support. In addition to our supported living services, Necco is also certified to provide vocational habilitation, non-medical transportation, residential respite and nutrition through approved waivers.

Services may be provided in the individual's home if he or she lives on their own, or in the family home. It may also be arranged for up to three individuals to share supported living services. Our supported living homes are located in the Lawrence County, Ohio area, staffed around the clock and assisted by practical as well as therapeutic assistance.
