Question: Will I be in contact with the biological families of the children I foster? Answer: Amy Kennedy-Rickman, Foster Care Liaison, answers that we promote contact as much as possible with the biological family when the reunification is the goal. We see our foster parents as a role model for biological parents and helping them. Sometimes contact is appropriate and sometimes it is not.
