We provide Independent Living for youth 18-21 — to prepare them for life on thier own. Our programs may vary by location, so contact the Necco office nearest you for details.

  • Land line telephone service
  • Community integration
  • Monthly food allowance
  • Transportation assistance
  • Vocational and educational training
  • Work with case manager on achieving goals
  • Education incentive program
  • Tutoring
  • Successful exit strategy

Program Eligibility:

  • 18 – up to 21 years of age (age varies by location)
  • Must remain committed to the custodial agency
  • Must attend a monthly independent living course
  • Motivated to learn & grow
  • Must have part-time employment/attend school
  • Must work towards identified education goals
  • Ability to save money for successful independence
  • Commitment to weekly contact with IL case manager
